Smile Makeovers
A Smile Designed Around You
A smile makeover isn’t one treatment. It’s a plan that puts several together in the right order. For one person, that means straightening and whitening. For another, it’s two veneers to fix chipped front teeth and some bonding to close a gap.
We start with what bothers you when you look in the mirror, then work out the least invasive way to change it. If whitening and a little bonding will get you there, we won’t suggest veneers.
At Harwood Dental Care, we take a personalised approach. We listen carefully to what you’d like to change and design a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, comfort, and long-term oral health.
- Fully personalised treatment planning
- Natural-looking cosmetic results
- Combination of treatments where appropriate
- Clear explanation at every stage

Combining Treatments for the Right Result
A smile makeover may include treatments such as teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, crowns, or orthodontic alignment. The right combination depends on your current smile, desired outcome, and overall dental health.
We focus on improving shape, colour, spacing, and balance while protecting the long-term health of your teeth. Every plan is carefully explained before treatment begins.

What to expect
Your first visit is a consultation. We check your teeth and gums, take photographs and a 3D scan, and talk about what you want to change. Any decay or gum problems get treated first, because cosmetic work only lasts on a healthy mouth.
You’ll then get a written plan with the order of treatment, how long each stage takes and the full cost. Take it home and think it over. For anything that can’t be undone, such as veneers, we’d rather you took your time.
Treatment is completed in stages, depending on what is involved. We move at a pace that feels comfortable and ensure you understand each step clearly.

Your questions answered
A smile makeover is a personalised combination of cosmetic treatments designed to improve your smile. The exact treatments depend on your needs and goals.
The timeline varies depending on the treatments involved. Some improvements are completed in weeks, while others may take several months.
Most cosmetic treatments are carried out with minimal discomfort. We use gentle techniques and explain everything clearly to keep you comfortable.
Yes, natural-looking results are always our priority. We focus on balance and subtle enhancement rather than dramatic change.
Your teeth and gums must be healthy before cosmetic treatment begins. If needed, we’ll address any underlying issues first.
Yes, teeth whitening is often included to brighten your overall appearance. It may be combined with other treatments for best results.
No. Veneers are just one possible option. We recommend treatments based on suitability, not as a default solution.
Some parts are, and some aren’t. Straightened teeth stay put as long as you wear your retainer. Whitening fades slowly and can be topped up. Bonding usually needs refreshing after 5 to 7 years. Veneers last longer, often 10 to 15 years, but are permanent in the sense that the tooth will always need one.
We may use photographs or planning tools to help visualise potential changes. This helps you feel confident before treatment begins.
Yes, we regularly support nervous patients with cosmetic treatment. We move at a comfortable pace and explain each stage clearly.
It depends on what’s included. Whitening alone starts from £400. Invisalign with whitening starts from £4,800. Veneers start from £1,050 per tooth. You’ll get a full written quote after your consultation, and monthly payments are available.
The first step is a consultation where we assess your smile and discuss your goals. From there, we create a personalised plan.
